SOUTH SHORE SIGHTS

Koloa: Old Koloa Town (Hwy 520) has various shops including The Wine Shop, Island Soap & Candle Works, Jungle Girl, and behind is the Variety Discount Store where you can purchase souvenirs at a discount. The other interersting views include the original "Where it all started" sugar mill that was build 150 years ago. Reserve Taxi or Reserve Tour

Po'ipu: Going further down 520, there is Poipu Rd which leads into Poipu. As you get closer, there is a roundabout with Kukuiula Village on the first right, followed by Prince Kuhio Park entrance that will also lead you to Lawai Beach, Spouting Horn Beach Park, National Tropical Botanical Gardens (which is split into McBryde Garden and Allerton Garden). Going back to the roundabout, you will pass Koloa Landing entrance, and head right into Poipu Beach. You are now back on Poipu Rd, and will pass several resorts, Poipu Shopping Village, and on the right is Hoonani Road, which will lead you to Poipu Beach (Baby Beach and Brennecke's Beach - Great for snorkeling and swimming). Going back onto Poipu Rd, and heading east, there is the Grand Hyatt Resort, Shipwrecks beach, and further down on the dirt road, Maha'ulepu Beach. Reserve Taxi or Reserve Tour

Kalaheo: Passing Lawai comes Kalaheo. On the way there, you will pass the Coffee Highway, where you will find Kauai Coffee Company. Kalaheo has the Kukuiolono Park and Golf Course. Further down is the Hanapepe Valley Lookout and the town of Hanapepe. The town, every Friday night, has all the artists showcasing there wares from 6pm to 9pm. Reserve Taxi or Reserve Tour
